This film has had such an emotional blow resting on me, I find it tough to put in writing commentary on it. I’ve read plenty of any earlier comments. Most have got good points to make, on the other hand the thing that I think most are struggling to both explain and are available to terminology which is just why this film is SO cherished. Cherished into the extent that for many it is definitely an nearly spiritual experience or for those of a more secular nature similar to myself, cherished as one of the crucial devastatingly inspiring stuff which might occur to you while watching a motion picture.

So I am not gonna review 22weeks, I’m simply going to struggle in my own method to clarify this motion picture. It took me several viewings to find why I hook up with it so deeply, nevertheless here it goes.

Most of us in this world are sad. A lot of people in this world don’t want to become sad. Masses of people hope, pray and above all hope for that magic rod to wave and wash them of their anxieties, losses, angers and pains once and for always. They set eyes on a great deal of others seemingly in this magical state, whilst they suffer. To use the words of a different film, they’re watching the bluebirds fleeting over the rainbow.

Loads of depressed people have learned this enchanting rod does not exist. They don’t seem to be destined to join any bluebirds and fairytales don’t come real. It is not that nobody lives happily forever after, it truly is just that they are not going to. They’re busy dying. However hopefully this movie will make them feel good…
