Tagline: Hold on to Your Heart. Cupid is Armed and Dangerous.

Trivia: Take a look at what some of the other performers are rehearsing while the Mechanicals are waiting for word from the Duke. One group of players is rehearsing the Greek tragedy Oedipus Rex and another pair of players are rehearsing a scene from Shakespeare's play Othello.

Goofs: Continuity: The medal and the red ribbon that Bottom is wearing when he leaves the theatre are different from those he's wearing when he arrives at home.

"Shakespeare's intertwined love polygons begin to get complicated from the start--Demetrius and Lysander both want Hermia but she only has eyes for Lysander. Bad news is, Hermia's father wants Demetrius for a son-in-law. On the outside is Helena, whose unreturned love burns hot for Demetrius. Hermia and Lysander plan to flee from the city under cover of darkness but are pursued by an enraged Demetrius (who is himself pursued by an enraptured Helena). In the forest, unbeknownst to the mortals, Oberon and Titania (King and Queen of the faeries) are having a spat over a servant boy. The plot twists up when Oberon's head mischief-maker, Puck, runs loose with a flower which causes people to fall in love with the first thing they see upon waking. Throw in a group of labourers preparing a play for the Duke's wedding (one of whom is given a donkey's head and Titania for a lover by Puck) and the complications become fantastically funny. A Midsummer Nights Dream survived the fact that me as well as my class mates saw it in a class area, little by little, as the classes werent extended enough to watch the complete film in a stretch, and I didnt acquire to see the very first half hour, but it has still stirred me like no other motion picture. It isnt that I normally look at Steven Seagal flicks or such, but in general I dont “get emotional”, cry and so on.

If I look at a great scene or an amazing picture, I only sat there, absolutely shocked and bring it to mind for quite a long time. This was a type of those movies. The great thing about this film, is that it, for me, builds up an exceptionally intense mood, as a result each scene is suffering from this mood and turns into even better.

A Midsummer Nights Dream is accused of playing a lot on peoples emotions instead of telling a “true story”. But the director does not overplay it, and this movie is something everybody must watch, since its too crucial to not, and since we SHOULD be bloody speechless occasionally!!!!Actually to be honoust I truly did not love this film at all. I am happy I could view it for free at this site, since else I would have had paid for it at the cinema.

But the director does not overplay it, and this film is something everybody must watch, since its too important not to, and because we SHOULD be bloody flabbergasted every now and then!!!!Anyhow to be honoust I actually didnt love this show at all. This motion picture has had such type of an emotional effect resting on me, I think it’s difficult to write down comments about it. I’ve read a whole lot of any earlier comments. Most have gotten good points to make, nevertheless the thing that I believe everyone is struggling to both describe and come to terms which is just why this movie is SO loved. Cherished into the level that for many people it is definitely an almost spiritual experience or else for those of a more secular environment like myself, cherished as probably the most devastatingly inspiring stuff that could happen to you whilst watching a motion picture.

As a result I am not want to review A Midsummer Nights Dream, I am just going to battle in my own way to explain this film. It took me quite a few viewings to find why I relate with it so intensely, however here it goes.

Many of us on this world are unhappy. A lot of people in this world don’t want to be unhappy. Loads of people fancy, pray and specifically wish for that enchanting rod to wave and clean them of their concerns, cutbacks, angers and suffering now and for always. They meet plenty of others seemingly on that magical state, as they suffer. To use the vocabulary of an alternative film, they are watching the bluebirds flutter over the rainbow.

Many miserable people have learned the enchanting stick doesn’t exist. They don’t seem to be destined to join the bluebirds or fairytales won’t come real. It is not that no one lives happily forever after, it’s just that they’re not going to. They’re busy dying. But hopefully this movie will make them happy…
